What is the tone of Easter 1916 by William Butler Yeats?
Women's Day has been spent ignoring goodwill, their nights in the argument until his voice became acute. 20 What voice more sweet than hers When, young and beautiful, went to harriers? This man had kept Rode a school and our winged horse; this one, his assistant and friend entered into force, might have won fame in the end if its sensitive nature seemed so bold and sweet of his thinking. 30 The other man who had dreamed of a drunken bully vainglory. He was the most bitter wrong that some are near my heart, and yet I know the song, too, has resigned from his role in the comedy relaxed, has also been modified, in turn, changed utterly: A terrible beauty is born.
Humor is both sad and cynical Yeats, recalling the events on that day, described how the Irish were brave to face the English, but were part of a horrible event that has been the cause of Irish independence. In a situation where another romantic poet my cause and to appeal to a sense of nationalism among the Irish, Yeats described the tragedy as it was both beautiful and terrible.
