College Basketball News

University of Connecticut coach to leave men's basketball team took immediate head of absence. Coach Jim Calhoun will take sick leave of absence after his doctor asked him after a control routine. Over the years, Calhoun rejected the prostate and skin cancer three times and immediately returned to coach the Huskies once he was in better condition. The reasons are unknown, but the university said that it is not related to their previous conditions. The overall Huskies, 11-6 and 2-3 in the Greater Middle organize your night San Juan in Hartford as an assistant coach George Blaney took over the team until the return of Calhoun.

NBA News

Cleveland Cavaliers Shaquille O'Neal became the fifth person in NBA history to score 28,000 career points last night in a victory over the Toronto Raptors. O'Neal is just behind Michael Hall of Fame in Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in total points scored. After the game O'Neal has said raise money for victims Haiti with the big names to join the basketball slam dunk contest to raise funds. Some of the players he thought would improve a lot of money if they decide to Lebron James take part, Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter.

Milwaukee Bucks hope that the shots over Jerry Stackhouse will help guard rails again. The Bucks began strong season behind the point rookie guard Brandon Jennings, but since then have tried to stay in the race for the playoffs playoff spot an Eastern Conference.

After surviving nearly lost his colon due to diverticulitis, UFC heavyweight Brock Lesnar will make his return this summer. If the winner of this fight is not available Lesnar will fight the winner of Antonio Nogueira Cain Velasquez on 21 February.
