Mid-American Football Conference forecasts 2010
MAC is forecast
1. Temple Owls – Temple only loss in the conference play a season ago came to Ohio in the last game of the regular season. This loss cost the Owls a trip to the MAC championship game. With Ohio Temple home this season, I hope the owl to avenge his loss to the Bobcats and win the AL East.
2. Bobcats Ohio – Frank Solich to complete I can not know enough about the work done in Ohio. He led the Bobcats to two MAC East Championship for the past four years, and helped to make a plate of 39-year drought. Solich has the Bobcats in the hunt for another MAC East title, but I did get a little less with a loss to Temple.
3. Kent State Golden Flashes – The last two seasons, Kent State was able to defeat all of them all. In fact, the Golden Flashes defeated the MAC East champion each of the last two seasons. The Lightning finished the regular season 4-4 in 2009, but could have finished better had it not been for injuries at the beginning of the season to key players. If healthy, I hope Kent State for details and first bowl trip since 1972.
4. Buffalo Bulls The Bulls finished 3-5 in the league last season but could easily be 6-2 if Bearing note that three of his losses were by three points or less. However, it is hard to think much if any road improvement will be in the team must adapt to life without Turner Gill.
5. Akron, Akron Zips finished 3-9 last season and struggled to continue with the new coach Rob Ianello. The crime is too anemic 19.3 points per game average in 2009, and I do not foresee major improvements in pro-style system Ianello.
6. Bowling Green Falcons – After losing two of the best players in the history of the program, QB and WR Freddie Barnes, Tyler Sheehan, crime will not be able to keep the Falcons in the game as he did last year.
7. Miami Ohio Redhawks – The Redhawks fell to 21.3 the past two seasons after 2009 to 11.1 this season. This marks their worst record within the past two years 20. The Redhawks would find a way out of the basement of The MAC, but does not go much further.
MAC Projections West
1. Northern Illinois Huskies – I really like what the Huskies put on the table. They run the ball well and played great defense. Teams of ingredients is a championship and that is why I love the Huskies won the West.
2. Toledo Rockets, Toledo must do a better job of not playing football this season. This would reduce instant 37.7 points per game gave the Rockets a year ago, helping to win football matches as a result.
3. Central Michigan Chippewas – Losing Coach Butch Jones, QB Dan LeFevour, Antonio Brown WR and RB Bryan Schroeder will be too much for the Chipps overcome.
4. West Michigan Broncos-The Broncos lost QB Tim Hiller and RB Brandon West, and these losses prevent the contestants are in the West.
5. Ball State Cardinals – The Cards took a rest of the NCAA granted MiQuale Lewis fifth years of eligibility, but this team still has a long way to go. The cards went just 20-10 in 2009, but it must be optimistic with what they have returning on both sides of football. Going back to .500 is not out of question.
6. Eastern Michigan Eagles years – first Ron spoke no English and the 0-12 Eagles, finishing last in the conference in total offense and defense. It will take a ton of improvement for the Eagles to avoid the basement, and I do not see what happens.
