Canadians crossing the U.S. to move from Ontario to Alberta?
Why mapquest driving require the U.S. to get the eastern Canada to western Canada? (see link for example) http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Whitehorse&1s=YT&2c=Turkey+Point&2s=ON (here is a trip to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory at Turkey Point, Ontario) who wanted to drive from Whitehorse to Turkey Point and yet have to worry about crossing the U.S. and returned to Canada ????? And if you want to go through U.S.. Can I go to the Canadian Lake Superior in its place? They often drive from Whitehorse to Turkey Point? The change from a horse in a turkey?
I made the trip several times and there are options. Google Maps also guide you through the United States unless you request otherwise. A solution is at the head of the lake through Thunder Bay and Dryden. Another is through Kapuskasing. For 20 years I Kapuskasing route, but when was very rural – not much of anything but trees. However, it is a nice flat, straight path of the road head of the lake. I accelerate – it is heavily guarded by police (or was). And I would not go there in a car that was not fully in place – is a long way between gas stations. MapQuest I'm not sure, but in Google, you can know how come asking, for example, for the guidance Toronto to Thunder Bay and then to Thunder Bay to Whitehorse. The same with the road Kapuskasing – Kapuskasing find their way and then from there to Whitehorse. Canadian roads I found two more interesting than I-97 or I-94.
