Rome
The week around Easter, are just some of the most active in Rome that the city comes alive for the calendar of the week's largest Catholic.
The events start in St Peter's Square, Palm Sunday with the blessing of the palms and public Mass in the morning of Holy Thursday, Pope presides over Mass in the morning in the Vatican Basilica. In Oliena Easter Sunday, residents along the streets to celebrate the 'S'Incontru when two separate processions – one with the Virgin Mary and the other a statue of Christ – are found.
