What is a good college to go if you want to study the performing arts?
I'm really in the arts, theater, choir, piano, dance, and really I have my eyes on Juilliard in New York, but the thing is a bit out of my price range, and accept that 8% of all candidates. Is there a college as well or as good as Juilliard good for someone with a smaller budget preferably near Eastern North Carolina? By the way thank you very much, I will be a freshman year next year. 13, 14 in August. I know I'm a little young to look at the collages. But I have a love for the arts … haha (:
It's great that now thinks. Remember that you can go to Juilliard or the New England Conservatory as a graduate student, where perhaps their finances might have changed or you could get a scholarship. One of my friends teaches music at the ECU (East Carolina Univ) – You may want to contact the power to get an idea of what they offer, or talk to a teacher music school.
